iTunes, .mp4 and lossless quality
April 12th, 2008 Posted in MiscellaniousOkay so recently while going through my music library I was shocked at the wide variety of quality of audio. Some of it is from a long time ago in yucky 128kbs mp3 files whilst some of it is like 256kbs AAC files. So anyway being the type of person that likes high quality music I’ve gone through and re-imported all my cd collection into Apple’s .mp4 lossless format! 
So i’m ripping at around 900kbs depending on the cd. It’s not so nice on disk space, but it’s lovely on the ears
